Here is why -
We confirm the break out in 11 counties and three protections of civilians’ sites (Juba, Bentiu, and Malakal). The affected counties are Abyei, Juba, Pibor, Gogrial West, Gogrial East, Mayom, Melut, Aweil South, Tonj North, Aweil West and Aweil Center counties. The outbreaks in Mayom and Abyei have been controlled and A total of 937 cases have been reported and seven deaths. 69% (650 cases) are children of less than five years of age.
